Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, New York Maria shares her passion for food and wine here at Doukénie Winery as Events Manager/Hospitality Sales Associate and resident chef. Generations of culinary knowledge have been passed down to her from her Italian family, and she loves nothing more than to share this knowledge with friends, family and customers. She shares her culinary skills with the Heritage Club Members.

Bill, a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators, brings more than 30 years of sales, marketing and customer service experience in consumer products to Doukenie. He hails from the vineyard and orchard region of Central New York State. He says that working at Doukenie Winery feels like a little piece of home, and that his goal is to convey that feeling to each and every customer who walks through the tasting room door. In his spare time, Bill is an outdoors sports enthusiast (skiing/biking/sailing) and an active watercolor painter.
Heritage Club Manager

Wine Aficionado, Linda Meyerriecks, brings her many skills from the publishing and educational worlds, as well as her experience as a Master Gardener, to Doukenie Winery and the Heritage Club members. A 38-year veteran of the National Geographic Society, as Picture Editor and Art Director, Linda now runs her own photography consulting business at PhotoShepherd.com, which includes contract work with National Geographic and teaching at the Maine Media Workshops. Linda grew up in a small rural NE Ohio town, before venturing to the big cities of NY and DC, and loves being back in a rural area.
